Sustainability
We believe it is important to work on making our company more sustainable on a daily basis. For example, it can happen that you receive a package in a recycled box. These are, for example, boxes that we have received from our supplier. If a box can no longer be reused as a shipping box because, for example, there are tears in it, we shred the box and use it as “in the box” filling material to protect your products during shipping. If you want to know more about our recycled boxes and packaging materials, we are happy to tell you everything.
Recycling
We are also a member of Wecycle, which is part of the OPEN foundation and is committed to the collection and recycling of e-waste. You can return an old electrical appliance for free with your order on Orangeshop.eu. We then ensure that Wecycle can recycle the devices. There is one condition to this: the device must fall in the same category as your order. You can also return your old electrical appliances free of charge at one of the 13,000 e-waste collection points. We recommend that you go for this option, as it is the most durable. In that case, no unnecessary packaging material, transport, etc. is required. In addition, we separate plastic, paper, electrical appliances, tempex, batteries, wood, iron and residual waste in special recycling bins that are now also included in our own range.
